The overall design of this painting is its main focus. Using a very controlled
palette, I stressed the texture, color and placement of each element.
I used a very slow process of glazing for this painting, which required many coats of paint,
layered carefully one on top of another. This procedure allowed the colors to build
up particularly vibrant and powerful; colors really make an impact here.
