Here is another example of a half-sheet horizontal format.
A very restricted palette was used in this painting to stress
the design elements. The dark stillness of the waters
are played against the snow and trees. Faint footsteps
along the bank hint at a visitor's passing through, but they only hint;
nature is the real subject here.
