Created from on-site pencil sketches of the Lilac Festival in Rochester, New York.
I wanted to portray the multitudes of people coming and going, looking at the lilacs.
While the scene is surrounded by lilac bushes, I concentrated on the action and
involvement of the people as the main subjects.
