Created from a combination of on-site pencil sketches and little watercolor
sketches, night makes way for the rising sun in this fall sky over the Adirondacks.
I kept the color range limited to emphasize the lighting
(instead of the colors) in this glorious sunrise. It was a challenge to make my statement
with such a simple subject matter, coupled with the an equally simple design and composition.
