This design-oriented nativity scene has been depicted with an ink drawing.
I intended for this to have a very reflective quality, giving only the
side profiles of Mary and Joseph. A feeling of familial warmth is also present,
the three subjects are kept close together. Baby Jesus seems
connected to the image of Mary, swaddling and her robes draw the two closer together.
