From my window view, I quickly rendered this painting
to capture glistening snow crystals, as they lay embedded in freshly
fallen snow on the trees outside. I then added the sun of a winter dawn,
keeping the yellow of the sun very cool to maintain an icy,
cold feeling. This was a very pristine winter sunrise, snow had fallen
and everything was quite still. I had a great deal of fun
capturing each sparkle of individual snow crystals.
