With a bouquet of tulips in a vase by my computer, I worked quickly
to capture the image of the fresh flowers into this painting.
The textures of the soft tulip petals are played against the mere
suggestion of the flowers behind them. There is a beautiful range of
colors in the tulip leaves, with soft colors throughout giving a tranquil feeling.
