I used the view outside my window as inspiration for this
lovely little painting. My first sketch
in the computer was set in late afternoon. However, when I came back later to
work on the image, the scene outside my window was then the rich blues
of night. Seeing the lit snow and road as they reflected lights along
the street, my image was soon transformed into a night painting.
More curvature was added to the road, which was lined with carriage lights.
The sky and street lights gently play down over
snow-covered branches below.
