Another fun creation, this is an example of an painting that
originally began its life as a different image. The original creation
had the cat alone, just looking out the window as cats can do.
He didn't have anything particularly interesting to watch.
With this new image, I added the structure of the tree outside,
and the little bird on its branches for the cat
to stare intently at. The entire mood of the artwork
changed, and I wound up with two different finished paintings from the same original theme.
These were challenging to do, using only neutral tones and gradations of light.
