Originating from a combination of sketches I had done of my garden and also
some of my own photos as references, here a monarch butterfly visits
some milkweed. The photos and sketches were brought in by my computer
and arranged out on the desk for me to refer to as needed, as I created
the image on the 'blank canvas' of the computer screen. I kept this
to quiet color ranges, repeating the colors of the monarch in the
background flowers as well.
