Here is a bright, cold afternoon day, the sight of which prompted me to create
this painting from memory. A cold color palette was used
to capture the mood of the scene and lighting. There is just a touch of color from
the last of the fall foliage still on the trees. Located just above the main
waterfall area, you can see the mist rising up through the cold air, from
the falling waters below.
